I've recovered some long-lost critic reviews on Ms Ehle's 2000 movie, Sunshine. Some outstanding comments regarding Ms Ehle include:
"...Ms. Harris and Ms. Ehle might share an Oscar, just as Mr. Fiennes might have to compete against himself"
A. O. Scott, THE NEW YORK TIMES
"Standout performances by Jennifer Ehle and Rosemary Harris"
Jack Matthews, NEW YORK DAILY NEWS
"Jennifer Ehle gives a mesmerizing and emotionally moving performance."
Bill Diehl, ABC RADIO
"Compelling. Excellent performances from the ravishing Jennifer Ehle and Rosemary Harris, Molly Parker, William Hurt and Rachel Weisz..."
Jonathan Foreman, NEW YORK POST
"...The film is anchored by Jennifer Ehle and Rosemary Harris, equally luminous as Valerie..."
Kevin Thomas, LOS ANGELES TIMES
"Jennifer Ehle has a sensuous intelligence worthy of the young Meryl Streep..." F.X. Feeney, LA
"...Jennifer Ehle is adorable as the young Valerie as is her real-life mother, Rosemary Harris."
John Simon, NATIONAL REVIEW

I remember when Sunshine came out. There was talk of a supporting actress Oscar nod and it was so disappointing when she didn't get it.
Yeah, how great would it be to see JE at the Oscars?!
